The Lovers support deeply loving relationships within their lives through conscious choices, introspection, understanding, action and alignment with values. 

This is a calling of unity, connection and love ~ one in which we choose.

The first aspect is the encouragement of building inner foundations of self-love, self-respect and personal heart nourishment.

These practices help one to develop a more decisive, supportive and understanding relationship with self.

A stronger trust within one’s needs, boundaries and wants.

This practice ignites our awareness of what we truly appreciate within a relationship, what is healthy for us and what we ourselves can work upon to be better partners for others. 

It heightens the ability to recognise what relationships are healthy and compatible for us and which one’s we recognise are not.

The work we do upon and within ourselves supports not only our own emotions and well-being but those of others also.

The second aspect of this card is a calling for relationships in which both partners complement and empower one another.

A relationship of trust, deep connection, respect, love and balance. 

A calling to keep one’s heart open to what is good, emotionally healthy and true.

This is an encouragement to develop a deep commitment to healthy love internally and externally. 

Reflect on what healthy love means to the soul, what one values and what it looks like. 

As self-awareness strengthens we can greater discern what is fulfilling, mutual, what is not and when a partnership is truly worth the dedication, effort and devotion. 

We can consciously direct our choices to create a fulfilling and loving path forward.
