Community Platform Data - To facilitate connections between members, enable community discussions, showcase member offerings via our Directory and Opportunity Board, create a safe, engaged community environment, support your personal growth journey by storing and sending back your intentions and goals at meaningful intervals, and gather feedback through surveys to continuously improve our offerings.

Event & Programme Data - To manage registrations, communicate logistics, ensure safe and meaningful experiences, and improve future offerings.

Foundation Data - To assess scholarship and fund applications, provide equitable access to our services, and support members in need.

Our lawful grounds for processing include: performance of contract, legitimate interests, legal obligations, and your consent (which you may withdraw at any time).

Essential Cookies - Always used to allow Squarespace (our hosting platform) to securely serve this website to you. These are required for the website to function.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email, but you will continue to receive essential service-related emails while you are actively using our services (e.g., retreat confirmations, coaching session reminders, event details, payment receipts).

If you have purchased a one-time service (such as a course, event ticket, or tarot reading), you will receive relevant communications for that service. Once the service is complete, you may unsubscribe from all future marketing communications.

We may also contact you to voluntarily participate in surveys or provide feedback.

Data Location: Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Squarespace (website), Stripe (payment data), and Circle (community platform). These providers maintain high security standards and comply with relevant data protection regulations.

Important Notice: No information transmitted over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. While we take measures to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. Transmission and exchange of information is at your own risk.

Data Retention: We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

9. MEMBERSHIP TERMS & CONDITIONS

Membership Structure:

Bohypnic offers tiered memberships:

  • Tier 1: - Roots

  • Tier 2: - Community

  • Tier 3: - Collective

  • Tier 4: - Sanctuary

Each tier includes specific benefits as outlined on our website and in your membership confirmation.

By becoming a member, you agree to:

  • Abide by our Community Guidelines

  • Provide accurate information during registration

  • Keep your login credentials confidential

  • Not share your account access with others

  • Use our services in accordance with these terms

Membership Access: Your membership grants you personal, non-transferable access to the benefits of your chosen tier. Access is granted upon successful payment.

Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. You are responsible for activity on your account unless we are at fault.

Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your membership at any time if you violate these terms or our Community Guidelines, with or without notice. Upon termination, you will lose access to all membership benefits immediately.

10. PAYMENT & BILLING

Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your complete payment card details on our servers.

Subscription Billing:

  • Memberships are billed monthly on a recurring basis

  • Your first payment is processed immediately upon sign-up

  • Subsequent payments occur automatically on the same day each month

  • All prices are in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable

Auto-Renewal: Your membership will automatically renew each month unless you cancel. By subscribing, you authorise Bohypnic to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

Failed Payments: If a payment fails:

  1. We will attempt to process payment again

  2. You will be notified via email

  3. If payment cannot be processed your membership may be suspended

  4. You will lose access to member-only benefits until payment is resolved

Price Changes: We reserve the right to change membership prices. Existing members will be notified at least 30 days before any price change takes effect. Continued use of the service after the price change constitutes acceptance.

Separate Purchases: Some offerings are purchased separately from membership subscriptions (coaching programmes, retreats, courses, events, products). These have separate payment terms as outlined at time of purchase.

11. CANCELLATION & REFUNDS

Monthly Membership Cancellations:

  • You may cancel your membership at any time

  • Cancel by contacting connect@bohypnic.com or through your account settings

  • Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period

  • No refunds are provided for partial months

  • Membership will not renew for the following month

14-Day Consumer Rights (Digital Content): Under UK law, you have 14 days to cancel digital content purchases. However, by accessing membership benefits immediately, you waive your right to the 14-day cooling-off period. This will be clearly communicated and agreed to at sign-up.

Courses & Digital Workshops (Self-Paced):

  • No refunds once purchased and accessed

  • At checkout, you must acknowledge: "I agree to access this course immediately and understand I am waiving my 14-day cancellation right"

  • By completing your purchase, you will receive immediate access to course content

Retreats & Events (Paid Separately):

  • 30+ days before event: Full refund minus processing fees

  • 14-29 days before event: 50% refund

  • Less than 14 days before event: No refund

  • If we cancel: Full refund or credit toward future events

Coaching Programmes and tarot readings: Cancellation and refund terms will be outlined in your coaching and/or tarot reading agreement.

12. COMMUNITY PLATFORM TERMS

Platform Access: Members have access to our community platform hosted on Circle. Access is provided as part of applicable membership tiers.

Platform Availability: While we strive for 99% uptime, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for temporary unavailability due to technical issues, maintenance, or circumstances beyond our control.

User-Generated Content: By posting content (text, images, videos, links) on our community platform:

  • You retain ownership of your content

  • You grant Bohypnic a non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute your content within the community

  • You confirm you have the right to share this content

  • You agree your content does not violate any third-party rights or laws

  • You understand content may be visible to other members

Content Moderation: We reserve the right to remove any content that violates our Community Guidelines or these terms, with or without notice.

Member Interactions:

  • Treat all members with respect (see Community Guidelines)

  • Do not share other members' personal information without consent

  • Report any concerning behaviour to connect@bohypnic.com

  • We are not responsible for disputes between members

Directory & Opportunity Board:

  • Members may showcase their offerings via our Directory

  • The Opportunity Board is for sharing opportunities and offerings

  • Excessive self-promotion or spam may result in content removal or membership termination

  • We do not endorse or guarantee any member offerings

13. EVENT & CONTENT USAGE RIGHTS

Photography & Video at Events:

By attending any Bohypnic event (online or in-person), you consent to:

  • Being photographed and/or recorded

  • Use of your image and likeness in Bohypnic marketing materials, website, social media, promotional content, and publications

  • Use of your testimonials or feedback in our marketing

If you do NOT consent to being photographed/recorded:

  • Notify us in writing at connect@bohypnic.com before the event

  • Keep your camera off during online events if you wish not to be photographed or recorded

We will make reasonable efforts to honour your request, though we cannot guarantee you will not incidentally appear in group photos or wide shots.

Use of Images:

  • We will never use images in a way that is defamatory or misleading

  • We will not sell your images to third parties

  • Images may be used indefinitely unless you request removal

Requesting Image Removal: Contact connect@bohypnic.com to request removal of your image from future materials. We will honour this request within 30 days, though we cannot remove images from materials already in circulation.

Your Own Content: You are responsible for respecting others' privacy when taking photos/videos at Bohypnic events. Do not share images of other members without their consent.

14. COACHING TERMS & DISCLAIMER

Nature of Coaching:

Bohypnic coaching is holistic coaching focused on personal growth, goal-setting, accountability, and self-discovery.

What Coaching Is NOT:

  • A substitute for medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice

  • Therapy, psychoanalysis, or behavioral therapy

  • Treatment for mental health conditions

  • Emergency support services

Coaching Does NOT:

  • Diagnose, prescribe, treat, or cure any disease (physical or mental)

  • Provide crisis intervention

  • Replace professional medical or psychological care

Client Responsibilities:

  • You take complete responsibility for your own physical health and emotional wellbeing

  • You will not discontinue or modify any medication without consulting your healthcare provider

  • You will seek appropriate professional help for medical or mental health concerns

  • You will be honest and engaged in the coaching process

Session Policies:

  • Sessions are conducted via video call or in-person as agreed

  • Cancellation policy is listed in coaching agreement 

  • Sessions are confidential unless disclosure is required by law or you pose a risk to yourself/others

Confidentiality: What we discuss in coaching remains confidential, except:

  • Where you provide written consent to share

  • Where required by law

  • Where there is risk of harm to yourself or others

  • Supervision and professional development (de-identified)

No Guarantees: Your outcomes depend on your engagement, commitment, and circumstances.

Use of Coaching Materials: Any materials, worksheets, or resources provided are for your personal use only and may not be shared or reproduced without permission.

15. TAROT DISCLAIMER

Entertainment & Inspiration:

Tarot readings provided by Bohypnic are purely for entertainment, encouragement, and inspiration. They are not:

  • Predictions of the future

  • Psychic services

  • Professional advice (medical, legal, financial, psychological)

Nature of Tarot:

  • Every card has a message of wisdom and encouragement

  • Tarot readings are focused on the present moment

  • Interpretations are subjective and personal

  • You are the ultimate authority on your own life

Your Responsibility:

  • Do not base critical life decisions solely on tarot readings

  • Seek professional advice for serious matters

  • Your life choices are your own responsibility

  • Any decisions made based on readings are made of your own free will

Consent & Eligibility: By booking a tarot reading, you confirm there is no mental, emotional, or physical reason why you should not receive this reading. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please seek appropriate professional support.

No Liability: We assume no legal liability for any damages, losses, or consequences of any decisions made subsequent to or based on tarot readings.

Use of Tarot Materials: Any materials, worksheets, or resources provided are for your personal use only and may not be shared or reproduced without permission.

16. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & COPYRIGHT

Bohypnic Content:

All content created by Bohypnic is protected by copyright laws, including:

  • Website content (bohypnic.com and community platform)

  • Text, graphics, logos, images, photography

  • Videos, audio recordings, podcasts, and podcast content

  • Social media posts and content across all platforms

  • Course materials, worksheets, guides, and programme resources

  • Retreat and event materials

  • Community Guidelines and frameworks

  • Bohypnic branding and design elements

  • Any other original Bohypnic content

Your Use:

  • Content is for your personal, non-commercial use only

  • You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works

  • You may not use Bohypnic content for commercial purposes without written permission

Member Content:

  • Members retain ownership of content they create and share

  • Do not use other members' content without permission

Use of Member Content by Bohypnic:

When you participate in interviews, provide testimonials, or share your story with Bohypnic, you grant us permission to:
