When the Hanged Man arises a period of stagnation, stillness or suspense may be being felt. 

In this position one is not fighting or going against the process, but more so, embracing the stillness, reflection and new perspectives that this position allows. 

To do otherwise will only cause internal conflict, pressure and frustration. 

This is a calling to dissolve and re-frame ones relation to time, progress and the process.

Trust in the timing and view this part of the journey through an entirely new lens, the surface level of life may not seem to be flowing or moving at the moment but all is happening within. 

Breathe into this stage, rest into it, the stillness allows for a new connection to life to be made. 

New wisdoms, new outlooks, new understandings, necessary learnings and emotional processes. 

This is a calling to completely transform the way one looks at and relates to this stage of the journey.

A calling to open oneself up entirely to the vaster picture, to see beyond this moment.

The Hanged Man can be a lesson in remaining intentional and proactive while fully, completely surrendering oneself. Releasing attachment, encouraging flow and allowing things to be. 

No pressure, no force, no should’s or should not’s ~ simply being here, present, with what is. 

This does not mean we do not progress, but we progress in different ways. 

This new position gifts us time to reflect, observe and develop new outlooks towards our situation.

New perspectives can allow the mind to think clearly again, this is essentially a card of encouragement to see everything within a new light. 

The Hanged Man calls upon us to continue our work, while ensuring the path is aligned with our integrity, to develop grounded foundations and to trust that this pause has a well founded time and place.
