A disengagement from old ways of being and a deeply devoted focus upon the new

~ Insight 

The Death card represents a transformation, a process one is being called not to postpone.

It is a metamorphosis, the re-birth of a soul, inviting one closer to truth and integrity. 

To support this transition there is an asking to disengage from the old ~ old ways of life and being. 

Through the process of shedding and letting go more space is evidently created, one part of self is now ready to die so another part can be born. 

We restrict our flow and growth when we cling to all that no longer serves us, holding on so tightly only intensifies the pain.

There is a certain ease that arises when we direct our energy to the natural flow of life and turn toward the embrace of a new beginning.

When cycles come to an end we are asked to release, to let go, with grace and wisdom. 

Allow time to mourn and process in the way that is needed while opening up to change.

Past chapters have taken one this far, they are a valid part of the journey but now, there is a calling to turn the page, to appreciate but not to hold on to what was. 

There are new parts of self that are emerging, that are coming forward, embrace these parts.

Transformation can come with many emotions, it is important to remember that when this card arises, one has the courage, spirit and maturity for this evolution. 

Now we are left simply with possibility and the ability to influence the forward path, for the better.
